Tricky makes a nice product but very expensive! 3k for an air front end or home made complete for about $200

Thanks everyone for the info. Looks like I have my work cut out for me.
Fireman your bike looks great. I think this might be the way to go
What kind of lift can you get out of that front air system?

Koemmover: I'd lower the front 2" with a progressive drop in kit; way more affordable, better performing than the stock setup and makes more sense than front air suspension.

the front air is nothing like what you're thinking... you cut down fork springs to get desired slammed look with the cylinders empty, then you fill them rock solid to lift front end to ride height. It still uses/rides on the fork springs and from what I hear it's a very similar ride to lowering springs...ride height with springs cut and 4" stroke cylinder is around 2" lowered ride height. You cant ride with the cylinders half full to soften the ride, it's simply a parking lot thing.. up to ride down to park

IR: It sure isn't, thanks for the explanation. I was thinking about the first version of it where it was only air and if the system failed you'd be riding on bottomed out front shocks.
