Default Samson true dual owners

Hey can I get a close up pic of the rear exhaust on both sides around the jug? I want to see whats going on with the Coil post and the shift linkage.

What comes with the kit as far as making it all work in that tight space?

I would like to mod my existing Covingtons linkage to work if possible.

Thanks!
Mo

I don't have a picture of mine right now, but I know the coil had to be relocated and you have to use their linkage that is provided. The stock one is too high and hits the pipes.

They provide a new "seat post" which is that bracket that mounts between the frame backbone and the trans. That is what your coil mounts to. It raises the coil up enough for the crossover pipe to fit thru there. Exactly how much does it raise the coil? I don't know. If I had the time this evening I would go measure my old bracket and the new one. Plus you get a nice shiny chrome shift linkage that is bent in just the right place so that it goes under the crossover pipe.

This pic might help a little.

In this pic you can see the bent shift linkage.

FYI, the Vance and Hines True Duals are a direct bolt on. No modifications required.

Run the Vance and Hines headers and Samson long tails and you got the best of both worlds, I had dyno done with both sets of pipes and the Vance and Hines made better power than the Samson headers

Is that your set up, V&H headers with the Samson pipes? If so how is the fit between sets?

Somehow I do not believe that.
