I have a 2003 Deuce with 15k miles on it. Over the summer on a ride I had some issues getting the bike to leave neutral. I limped it off the mountain and left it for a bit. When I came back to it there was a big puddle of gear oil under the primary. I know I need to change all the seals maybe some gears probabaly going to be a big job. My father in law unlike myself is very mechanically inclined so he would like to fix it ourselves. I would like to find a service manual or even a diagram on how the inner and outer primary comes apart, what the inner parts are called if needed, and how it all goes back together. Every other posting I have clicked on here has had bad links for any diagrams. Thanks for any help!

 

It would serve you best to get the manual for the whole bike at the dealership.

$50-60 at the dealer. Well worth it.

HD puts a copyright on their manuals... Probably why most diagram and PDF links you have found are broken.
