custom tins on a 2011 fatboy lo question.
I traded some parts for a spare set of tins for my lo at a swap meet. The guy I got these from had no idea what they were off of but they look like a custom softail frame modified for a 200 rear from the late 90's. I made the the rear fit and it looks awesome. I can fabricate and weld all the brackets for the tank etc.. to fit my bike. My question is regarding the fuel pump/sending unit. This is a split 7 gallon tank so I'll have to chop/fabricate/weld a mount for the fuel pump/console from the lo. Is that my only choice or is there an external fuel pump that I can use. Any experience from someone who has added a custom tank to a newer harley would be great. The paint is in great shape so the less I have to fab, the better.
