Yep, your screwed! I have a rocker and the original tail lights were bad/leaked water like a sieve...I complained to HD and they gave me a couple of replacements. The replacements have been re-engineered (new rev part number) and have apparently fixed the problem, so far...If you get stuck, I think I have 1 extra light left I can sell you reasonable/email if you need it. They cost like 250 bucks EACH at the dealer...ripoff.
Easy to change, unbolt the rear fender. My plate light went belly up also/water...Good luck. Ps what year is your rocker?
If any of the three lights is taking on water, and you can get them working again by drying them out, they can be re-sealed (at least for a while) by carefully wicking the flexible, thin type superglue into the joints.
