So you're bikeless! NOOOOOooooo!
I suppose if you're motivated, you could do all the minor maintenance stuff that you've been ignoring.
I would be happy to enjoy my new found power if the snow would stop long enough!

Sucks about the long wait Dan, but you'll be happy in the end. At least it's not June or July. Riding is still pretty cold and sucky right now...and riding only scratches the itch.

Man, no kidding! We got some serious snow Saturday, but we were able to clear some good paths out the neighborhood.

I was able to ride again Friday evening. I'm at about 200 miles on the build now. My gas lines are en route, so I'll be replacing those soon. Once they're here I'll be able to head to ACE Hardware for some self-adjusting spring clamps. I wasn't certain what size I needed or I'd have ordered them online.

After that, I'm done for a while. The weather is going to be nice this week, and April/May aren't far off. Those are going to be busy months for me with other household projects, so the bike stuff is done. At least that's my story.

I knew I forgot to do something! Just ordered a pair of those fuel lines. Red, did your local dealer have the screws and gasket for the gas tank on hand?

They had them last time I needed them when I had to pull that plate to retrieve my wayward piece of masking tape from my siphon endeavors...

I have also bought them from Mile Hi in Parker when I reassembled my pieces from when I got my parts back from Gunslingers Paint, last year.

I think they're fairly common....

I am all caught up.
I adjusted my primary chain and replaced the fluid.
And replaced the trans fluid.
Cleaned all the gasket surfaces, rebuilt the breathers.

Just waiting on the cylinders and heads...

Hopefully I'm going to do yet another thing I've never messed with- the forks. Remove, disassemble, polish the lowers. Then adjust the steering head bearings after reassembly.

Almost have the wife talked into letting me get the 98 setup. The deuce could really use it. Seems like the 88b just was not enough kick for the bike. Especially with a passenger.

Follow suite and get her going!
Your running out of time before the weather turns..
Do you have cams?
That really wake the motor up. Especially riding two up

If you can't swing a 98" set-up, at least do cams as Dan suggested. That will wake up the bike. If you have read the whole thread, you'll see I've done mine a piece at a time. I'll do my heads next winter.
