Default 2005 Fatboy with PC5

I bought a Power Commander 5 from Fuel Moto as part of a stage 1 upgrade. It has been hooked up to my bike for about a year and this weekend was the first time I started the bike while it was hooked to my laptop and noticed that it is not receiving some information about the bike like engine temperature.

It was a good exercise though because I had to reset the throttle as it was reading 4% when it was idling.

Anyone know why the engine temperature would not show?

First...i thought the 2005's run off a PCIII, not a PCV..

Second..have you tried updating your Powercommander's firmware from their site?

It is definitely a PCV I think Fuel Moto called it a retrofit for the older models. I did download the newest firmware and it still has not displayed.

Does the retrofit have reduced capabilities or do you think something is configured wrong?

You said you got it from Fuel Moto, right? Paid good money to Jamie for not only the PCV, but also for tech & customer support?

If I were you, I'd be calling him up to answer any questions. That's the way my evil mind works.
