1) If you leave the FOB inside, go out to your bike and sit on it.. does the alarm activate and the lights start flashing? (Ensuring the alarm works)
2) With the FOB present, if you sit on the bike, but not turn on the ignition, is there a little red key-light that comes on on the dash? (Alarm recognizes the FOB, though I don't know if your speedo/dash will have the key light)
3) Did you set up a pin number using the turn signals?
3a) Have you tried disarming the alarm using the pin number with the turn signals?
4) With the FOB present, ignition on, do your lights turn on (headlight, running lights)?
Mine has the old system with the push button , all appears to working fine can arm and disarm the system the bike will crank for a few seconds then die . I understand there might be a procedure for merry the security system to the ECM I just don't have it! Thanks for the help!
