06 Dyna Speedo to 99 Fat boy?

Does anyone know if a 2006 Dyna Street Bob's speedometer will work on a 1999 Softail Fat Boy? Thanks!

I may be wrong.. very rare, but it happens.. but I want to say No just because I think the electrical connectors are different between the Evo model years and the Twin Cam model years.. and it may even be different between the Dyna and Softail models..I don't see any speedos on HDs site that are cross listed between the two

I tired an 07 speedo on my 02 and it was a no go. Like Sarge said it was a different plug.

The 1999 will take up to a 2003. They changed something in 2004.

I was told the fat boy has a 5" and street bob has a 4". Thanks guys for a response. I only asked cuz I'm selling my stock speedo and a guy asked it if would fit his fat boy. Thanks again!
