I just recently installed a set of v&h slip ons and since then i hear a weird squeek when i turn off the bike and i have no idea what it is... anybody have some input?
p.s. first thing i checked was fluids and there good
every now and then I get a short whistle that could be described as a squeek I guess, it comes from my throttle body and is related to the engine rotating just slightly backward when the rotation stops and compression causes the engine to slightly back up releasing the pressure. I have heard this same sound from several other harleys also. No idea if this is the sound your hearing but may help ya.
I get a squeak/whistle sound a lot of the time when I shut my bike down. I was told this is common for twin cams and is some type pressure relief valve.

That actually makes sense, although i hear it nearly everytime on shutdown, but if it were something else id assume i could hear while its running. Im relieved that it sounds like a common thing
LOL, that noise is totally ridiculous! Its super common as well. Heres a sound clip of my bike making the noise at shutdown with not one, but two different mufflers. Its downright silly.
