09 Softail Fuel Pump Removal?

Hey guys,

Thinking of swapping my tins to my black set for this year. Got too much heat on the two tone now haha.. so I have a dealer takeoff black set that I got shortly after I bought the bike new. The fuel gauge is also on the black set so I don't have to mess with that..

I have the 07 HD repair manual, but I know the 07's were different on their fuel pump/float assemblies and removal etc.

Can a fellow forum browser here give me the quick and dirty lowdown of what's involved to remove and reinstall the fuel pump/float assembly? I know to replace the screws and gasket, etc. I also believe the 08-up are easier to remove than the previous years. I looked into this a couple of years back but can't find those internet sources now..

Much appreciated for any pointers and help!

I replaced my fuel filter on my 09 at the end of the year last year. It wasn't that hard. Much easier than everything that I had seen for previous years. I just followed the service manual. I don't really have any tips other than take your time.
