passenger with shadetree fender?

passenger with shadetree fender?
shadetree sells struts to go with their crossbones fender and says you can hold a passenger.... just wondering if anyone has done this, or carried a passenger with another strutless rear fender. i like the look of the shadetree fender, and bobbed/lowered fatboy fenders, only problem is the girlfriend likes to come along sometimes. i'd imagine even if you can carry a passenger on a strutless rear fender, the ride would suck once you hit a bump....
