I'm waiting on a flstc fuel pump top plate to mount my flstc cateye dash. I gave up trying to make a bracket after the 5th attempt failed, it'll be a direct swap with my Deluxe. Mock ups look killer, also going to use the slim tank panel for now.

Nothing fancy, just hit it with a few squirts of plasti-dip.

Here's the one I recently made. I started with the stock leather dash, removed the lacing, sewed on a Boozefighters bottle patch and stamped some lettering in the leather. Then I got some testors model paint and painted in the lettering. Well, I like it anyways.

Here's what I was running before the blackline dash swap. Stock dash, just disassembled it, sprayed the trim ring and dash with a little black and brushed the chrome on the switch.

Nice! That's probably hat what I'm going to do for my bobber project for now. I took off the speedo to work on the bike and I love it open and exposed. I'm waiting on your long term report of your rocker mounted speedo. I've heard third hand that they crack or are unreadable in that location. Like you, I don't look at my speedo but it is nice to give the officer an honest answer when he asks me how fast I was going.
