Default V&H exhaust 06 night train

I bought a 06 night train 2 month ago it's EFI. My question is I just got my V&H big radius 2 to 2 exhaust in the mail and I was wondering if I could just put it on or if I have to do anything first like a programmer or something
Thanks

You will need to use the Fuelpak from V&H, a Power Commandeer, or you can have your bike remapped at the dealer. If you aren't planning on doing more than intake and exhaust, I would recommend the Fuelpak. If you are going further than that get a power commander. If your bike is moving air more effectively through the engine, you need to adjust the fuel mixture and timing and that is what these piggy back systems do.

If you're only doing exhaust, you don't. Yes you'll get some decel popping, but it won't really damage the engine. It's when you use an aftermarket intake that you're increasing the air going in to the engine, which will make it run more lean.. that's when the fuel tuner comes in to play and helps even that out.

I would use a PowerCommander from FuelMoto if you're going to do more to the engine after the A/C and exhaust. If not, look into a Dobeck TFI/DFO. Much easier to use than a fuelPak and does the same thing. I had one and loved it.
