Hey yall, just thought id post some updated pics of my softail bagger conversion, tore it all apart and repowder coated the frame and changed alot of chrome to black and repainted it white with blue pearl, which shows up better in sunlight, I put air ride on it and lowered the bags about 1.5 inches and filled in the exhaust cut outs and dumping it out the side, here is what it was and now
my stepson want this...so we will copy yours, look great..

New paint. No more flames!
Batwing fairing from Memphis shades (no windshield yet I still need to paint it)
New exhaust tip to keep the exhaust off the bags for the hooker 4 into 1 pipes I love them!
Bad Dad rear fender ( All in one) Pricey but I like the clean look without crazy *** lights all over the back end.
4" stretched bags from TJ Customs
This is with the bags hanging on it. Nothing is bolted yet as it is still in a semi mock up state. It looks like I am going to have to modify the saddlebag brackets to move the bags roughly 3" forward from where they are sitting.
This is where the project is as of right now. Hopefully I will have the complete mock up done within a week or two. Then off to the paint shop.
I'm trying to install this overlay on a softail but it doesn't seem to work. Am I missing something or is this overlay for a touring bike. If it is for a touring bike has anyone modified it to work. Please help I'm doing this for a buddy and I think he got ripped off on ebay.

overlay fender question. Hey man I got a question I got the same fender. I believe your fender is bagger bags. Did you get that fender to work or did you have to send it back and get a replacement? What did you have to do to get that fender to work if you kept it? Please reply
