I've got an 09 Rocker with the stock LED tailights. I cracked the left one somewhere and moisture has made the light barely visible. I went to harly to order a new tailight but found that its a sealed housing and I need to replace the whole assembly which is $365. I see the Wideglide has the same taillight set up as the Rocker and will mount up and its with regular replaceable bulbs. I can buy the Wideglide set up for $165. My question is will the regular bulb setup work on my stock LED Rocker?
Voltage regulator for the led's is built in the harness between rear connector and tail lights, if they will mount then they will work. All you'll have to do is run new wires which will most likely come with the new lights and some connector pins if it doesn't come with them pre installed.
Another option would be to go ahead and finish off that lens and pull the other and put smoked or clear signal lenses on. You'll have to cut off the 3 tabs and glue them to the stock housing but it will work just fine!
