Default Ultima King Spoke Question

I am in need of some help. I know there was a post started about a month ago talking about the Ultima King Spoke now being available for 2000 and newer bikes. I have searched trying to find that post again and can't seem to find it.

I wanted to know if these were now available for a 2009 Deluxe and if so where I can order them.

Also, has anyone ordered these? If so how is the quality?

Thanks for all the help.

Thanks hspring03. I thought that is where they said they ordered them. I called yesterday and was told they didn't have them for a 2009. I could have sworn the post I was talking about (it was in the softail boards) said someone had ordered them. Oh well, guess I will keep searching.

The last response I can remember in the post was that whoever had he rims took them to the dealership to change the bearings and they messed up the rim. That ring a bell for anyone??

Ya know, my winter mods have gotten out of hand and way over budget. With all this talk about these rims that has been popping up all winter long is going to really hurt me and cost me. I have gone from cancelling all my winter mods because of a troubled 1st pregnancy with my Son's G/F with my 1st grand baby to being able to spend 2k in mods because of a monster overtime check the end of last year to where I am now close to 5k in mods and yes about 1k of that will be in labor. I am probably going to be the only guy on here with a Vicla style build that has stayed with 16" wheels. I know those were high on a Vicla style build requirements list so I guess I will only be or have a "wanna be" Vicla rider/bike. I just don't think, for me and to me, that the Deluxe and it's "nostalgia" look, looks good with anything but the 16's on it. I don't ever recall back in the day, seeing a bike like the Deluxe or the Electra glide's with a big skinny tire on the front of them. I am NOT knocking it and I have seen some pretty sweet bikes, Vicla builds, with the 21" and 23" tires and wheels on them. It's just not my cup of tea and it takes away from the original nostalgia type look. Go easy on me all you guy's with the bigger skinnier wheels. I'm NOT against them on ANYONE's bike, only and other than mine. Also a draw back for me is choices and options. They just don't have as many options as they do with all the other size wheels that you guys can look through, pick from and enjoy. Harley has some bad *** wheels that came out about a year ago called "Vapor" I think it is. They only come in 18's though. About the only thing out there to keep me in that nostalgic look are the fat spoke rims. I know they didn't have those back in the day but I think this style of bike can pull that look off, in 16's though. I am going to try my very best to stay away from any rim changes until I can build my cash reserve up again. I know you only live once, trust me I do, but still I have to pay the bills to and I hate being broke with no stash in the bank.

Probably 00-06..... the bearings changed in 08, so maybe Jireh hasn't got that far yet.
