Default Night Train question

Hello all,

I am looking for a little help from some of you HD owners out there! I am currently working on a car restoration project, yes a realize that this is a motorcycle forum but please bear w/ me for a moment.

I have always thought that the way a Night train engine looks is so hot! the black and black, accent chrome...it all looks great! Well I am thinking of trying to duplicate that look w/ the motor I am building. Would any of you happen to know what or how the black is acheived on these motors? Is it an anodized effect? Powder coating? or just flat high temp paint? I knowthis question may sound a little ignorant, but I am just curious...

Thanks in advance people...and if this post is not apropriate then please feel free to delete it and I am sorry for taking up your time...

It's wrinkle black powdercoat. If you call any decent powdercoater, they'll know exactly what you need.
