Aftermarket coil?
I hate the look of the OEM coil and I am having to use the chrome coil cover to hide it.
I'd love to buy a decent to good looking aftermarket coil that I can display without the chrome cover.
I stopped in at my HD dealer and after 20 minutes of discussing it with the parts guy and service manager they informed me they had nothing I could buy that would work with my bike.
Somehow I think that must be impossible and there must be multiple solutions but I think they just didn't want to look hard enough.
So while I'm googling I thought I'd post up here and see if anyone else uses an aftermarket coil on their 2008 or later softail.

Take a look at these two vids to get an idea....they are all stock.
The only ones that would not work are the coils that have the offset plug terminals...those are for the carbed bikes (pre-2007).
Toward the end of this vid there is one with a real different looking cover.
I've also seen covers & coils painted a variety of colors...and stickers on the cover also.
Here is a pic of a really ugly older sporty coil with a sticker on it.

Just throwing out a few ideas.
