Well my bike just started to excel pop from first to second so I figured I would check the plugs and see what is going on and I discovered that maybe my plugs wheren't changed on a 10,000 mile service at Harley...I'm a little pissed right now but I blame myself for not checking the work from these guys..I'm done with them it's a shame that they don't care about service...By the way I dont wash my bike with water and I live in the desert and I haven't had this bike in the rain...you tell me do these look like 1500 miles where put on them??
Hmm my plugs dont look that bad after several years of use. Could be a defective coating on the plugs. I would take the plugs and your receipt to who you had do the the work and get their opinion. Maybe they will warranty it...
I'm pretty sure the checklist at Harley says replace plugs on a 10,000 mile service..but if they inspected those and thought they where ok well that answers itself..I haven't changed them yet I'm going to tonight. My point is these *** clowns are a joke and I'm calling them out on it...my guess these are the original plugs
You should bring those plugs in with your receipt.
It clearly states that they put new plugs in at the 10k service.
I bet they're just gonna say that they must have missed it and they'll throw a couple of $3 plugs in it and call it a day....probably say they're sorry for the inconvenience.
My question would be...if they missed something as simple as plugs, what else did they miss??
Did they change the oil? Transmission fluid? Adjust the clutch? etc......
