Default V&H pipes.

Curious I have V&H big radius pipes and im not impressed with the heat shields. Can you remove the heat shields and wrap the pipes.

I don't have the pipes but I'd bet that they can be removed. If they can be put on, they should be removable.

I had to remove them for install so I didn't damage them. Yes they can be removed, just a couple bands that can be unscrewed with a slotted driver.

Yep, they can be removed and wrapped.

Now, many different opinions on wrapping. Some say they wear out and can crack the pipes over time (for most, it appears to be over long periods of time). Some say it causes more heat. And some say no issues whatsoever. So it's up to you.

Thanks, I like the look of the wrap.
I kinda assumed it didnt last as long, but hey nothing lasts forever....
