Default Flash reverse, front turn signals. Want them to stay bright, dim when flashing.

Here's what I'm after: I want the front turn signals to stay bright when driving, and get dimmer when flashing, instead of staying dim and getting brighter when flashing. If they flashed between bright and off, that would be fine too.

Any thoughts? Bike is a 2008 Rocker

Would be able to do the fronts easy enough. But the backs wouldn't be able to do due to the run/turn/brakes. You wouldn't want them to dim when you hit the brakes.

Yes, just the fronts, to be more visible from the front. How would they be done?

id like to do this as well. They could even flash from bright to off but being bright when not flashing would look much better because it would match the brightness of the running lights and headlights

Any help?
From the wiring diagram, I can't even tell what controls the turn signals. Is it the ECM, a turn signal cancel module, or what?

Anyone know of an aftermarket module that will do this?

It turns out that Custom Dynamics has a module for this, called the Eclipse 2. About $25 for two, which will do the front and back. A downside is that they will only handle enough current to run LEDs, not standard bulbs.

But if you need to replace the bulbs with LEDs anyway, they also offer the replacement LEDs with the module built in, which would make installation a little simpler.

Then, after switching to LEDs, you will probably also need their Unversal Signal Stabilizer (load equalizer).

It's hard to sort things out from their web site, but their customer service over the phone is excellent. Many of their modules are plug-and-play, depending on which motorcycle you have.

I'd still be interested in being able to do this with something simple like moving a few wires around, if anyone knows how.

With LEDs being brighter in general than standard bulbs, I would go that route. Or the CD kit since they have it figured out. I believe the signals are controlled by a module separate from the ECM.
