Default Mustang solo seat question

Hey, I'm wondering if anyone has the Mustang Sport Solo Seat with Backrest. (part number 79534). The pics I see at various parts stores show a passenger seat attached to the back. DON'T want a passenger seat, just the nice looks of the rider and backrest.
Was told at HD dealership that solo seat with backrest is hard to find since most guys have chicks that ride. My chick doesn't like motorcycles, but oh does she take care of herself.

They do make the solo version. Search the classifieds, there was just one for sale a week or so ago.

Yes, you can purchase a Mustang solo seat with backrest without the passenger pad. Check out their web site.

Recently purchased mustang solo without backrest. The solo has excellent lumbar support without back rest and a great deal less expensive than with backrest. One thing to keep in mind though... make sure battery terminals are facing to front of bike. The previous owner of my 90 heritage softail had battery installed with terminals facing to rear of bike. The mustang seat has 16 gage steel on underside of seat. The underside hit my battery terminals and melted both posts on battery. Turned new battery to front of bike and no issues since. Good luck u will love the comfort I know I do.

I have had 3 over the years. Now have a wide one.I like it more than the regular ones. You can wiggle around more.(not a fat ***) The back rests are great. You wont want to be without one again.

That is a great tip about the battery posts contacting the metal under the seat. Thanks
