When using flex pipe as a heat shield for an old school look, what keeps the flex from rattling around?...Does it come with clamps etc?

 

I used a cut out flame looking 5" heat shield at the top, just kinda hooked a piece of flame inside the top, and used it to put tension against the bottom so it didn't rattle around

 

Mine didn't come with clamps. I'm drilling a set screw top and bottom to keep it from moving.

Nothing will keep it from rattling.

 

Rattles...Ugh! If someone was smart, they would make em like stock heat shields so that they would just clamp with a hose clamp. Cut 1/3 of the heat shield away in the back so the clamp can be utilized...But I'm too lazy!...lol

 

Mine didn't rattle, trapped between the two other hiet shields. Could probably use some wrap under it to prevent it too

 

I used 2 1/4 inch clamps at top and some wrap with exhaust shields cut to fit
