Default Winter Mods done , First spring ride

I finally had a chance to go the the Harley shop and pick up my ride .
The bike was there all winter having new goodies put on .
Had a set of Samson 42" super Cholos , Carlini 16" Flying apes , all braided lines along with Aluminum Billit grips Performance style added , Mikuni Carburetor and a Kuryakyn Hypercharger breather.

All I can say is WOW . I love the mods that were done had a smile from ear to ear and talking about snappy , you touch the throttle and it responds with authority !!!! .The old 1992 girl is doing good .

The 90 mile ride home was good up to when my heated gear went on the blink . The connections fused together and quit working . I was surprised the fuse did not break .
The temp was 25 and at 60-65 MPH I was absolutely freezing .
By the time I hit my town my fingers could not close all the way and clutching was difficult to say the least .
Anyway glad to have my bike home .
Love it .

RR

That is a great Dash cluster you got there, what year/model ? ..

J/K dude.. that bike looks great and I love the fact it is old and beautiful, sometimes with all those new bikes around us, we forget to connect with our bikes...

Sorry about that . That dash belongs to my buddy that was riding with me he has the Gold wing .
My dash is the regular one .
Yes the old girl runs great for 21 years old . Sure got a lot of thumbs up going through the town of Soldotna , those Samson unbaffled pipes did the trick for me .

Dude, I don't know if it's and angle of the picture or what but it looks like you're right fishtail is slightly popped out and ready to lose it. Sorry for the false alert if it is just the picture. Look at the 5th picture down.

Good eye guys . It's just the angle of the picture . The fishtail's are tight just full of road grime . Went through a few areas that had water coming off of melting ice from the winter build ups on the side of the road . Now the pipes need a good cleaning along with the bike.
Enjoy

Sweet! I just didn't want you to lose that end piece on your brand new pipes Dude. I think they are like 95 bucks a piece to replace. Your bike looks very nice Dude but I am glad you posted your pictures. I am now pretty sure the 42's would have been a tad too long for me and how and where I ride. It in no way reflects negatively on your bike.
