Longest winter I can remember here as well. Got out a couple times thought spring was here now it is freezing again and looks like 4 or 5 days before it will warm up so we can ride again.
Yea, this global warming $hit is really getting old!!!!
Last year at this time I had over 1k miles on the bike already...this year, less than 200, and most was put on during one of the rare nice days that we had.
Best days for upcoming riding are, Sun, Mon, Tue, & Thurs for at least the next month...how do I know that???? Because those are the days I usually work
I'm right there with ya. Prior to the last week, I had my bike out for about a week and a half - was not real warm but it did get into the 50's. Manage to ride my first 200 miles for the year. That warm spell was enough to melt the 18"-24" snowpack we had. Friday morning I woke up, after about a week of snow/sleet/rain, and there was about 15" of new, fresh snow in the front yard.. Its melting fast now though, I can hear the water running off the roof.. So here is hoping that it is finally going to let go. They are saying snow again tonight, maybe 1-3" is what I am hearing.
Here is a little picture to reinforce what I am talking about. It was taken at about 1 AM, Friday.
Riding weather has been here for......... well, it never really goes away.
Sorry guys, had to. :P
It's coming, don't sweat it.
Muahaha! Yeah man! Getting kinda warm down here though.. I was sweating butt today! Didn't get any riding in today though due to the scattered storms. Blah! Where you located man?
Yep this surely sucks...and you know the days already start getting shorter for us next month!
