hey new to the forum and just got my first harley its a 2008 rocker c i was wondering if anyoe has put on the touring kit for a rocker on the rocker c and if so can i switch the stock rocker c seat to a danny grey and still use the touring kit? and input would be great thanks

Absolutely, you will have to do some slight grinding modifications to the front of the touring stuts mounting point as its slotted for the frame. Basically just need to take the slot out and make it flat so the dg seat mount matches up with it. I myself and many others on the forum have done this with no adverse effects.

ok thanks for the responce thatll hafta be a winter project this winter since i aint gunna go without a bike over the summer.. and if i dont put a lowering kit on with the danny grey will it still cover the gap from the stock seat?

Here's a side view and my bike is actually raised in the picture with my Shotgun air system. Rough dirt road out to the gold mine and I forgot to lower it for the pictures.

Not much of the gap compared to stock. If I lower it, there is no gap at all.

great thanks for the help ill start hunting down some parts may even have to start on it before riding season this year since we still got snow on the ground. on the dg seats i noticed everyone gets the gel in em but i also see the offer air pockets or some **** like that is the gel the way to go ?

I got mine for $325 with gel shipped. It was a $700+ seat if I ordered direct for Danny Gray.
I emailed Shirley @ Danny Gray about doing the seat in blue leather. She said they didn't have a blue that would compliment the stock paint.

I started searching and that's how I found this forum. People were buying them from http://www.ebay.com/itm/Harley-David...708fba&vxp=mtr
This guy. I lucked out and it was a bid that no one else bid on.
