Honestly I do not know exactly what to say but up until 3 months ago I had a Street Bob with forward controls and an almost straight bar almost like a Fat Boy Lo bar and it was quite comftable!
I would appreciate if you could comment on this !

I traded in a 2012 Dyna wide glide for the Breakout. I had my Wide glide for about a year. Let me say this the Riding position of my Dyna was more comfortable for me. However, the suspension on my Dyna was too soft. While riding two up, it bottomed out a lot. Plus I even had the suspension cranked up tight. My Dyna didn't handle very well. For me slow speed tight turns were tough. As far as my Breakout, it handles really nice in all speeds. Slow tight turns are a lot easier. The suspension is only a little hard but for two up its perfect. It soaks up all the back road bumps very nicely. High speed cornering took time to get used too. I almost went off the road once with my Breakout because I couldn't get the bike to lean enough. I guess that wide rear tire had a lot to do with it.

But yes, I do feel like I'm much more forward on my Breakout than on my Dyna wide glide that I traded in. Because I have to position my body more forward to each the handle bars, my legs are more forward too. So my knees are bent a lot. Getting the sundowner front and rear seat for my Breakout helps a lot. Now my wife and I can enjoy long rides on the Breakout.

But can I know what is your height please?? I am 5ft 7inch and I fit exactly when I sat on it at the dealer. This week I will give it a try to be sure of the ride. So you say that for tight turns its easier with the BO ?

I test rode a Breakout the other day. I'm 6'2" and I did not feel very comfortable on it as it puts a weird strain on my lower back to keep myself in that riding position. The FatBoy I rode right before it was a way more plush and comfy ride.

Other than that, the blue pearl color the bike was in was fantastic and I didn't think I would like all that pearl effect and sparkle in the sunlight when I saw pictures of it but loved it in person. It is a good looking bike for sure, nice proportions, nice and wide tire and fender, nicely stretched out and lowered. I could not stop admiring it. I also thought it rode much better than I would have guessed! I test rode a Vegas Jackpot a few weeks back and the Breakout feels like it will run circles around the Jackpot in the turns. It felt well balanced and eager to turn when the road got twisty and on the on and off ramps to the highway. Of course when you twist the throttle and smoothly rocket forward in that semi aggressive clam-shell riding position you can't help but to crack a smile, this bike has lots of attitude, looks and feel. FUN bike is what I kept saying to myself as I rode it. I so didn't want the ride to be over and to bring it back to the dealer.

To the OP, GO FOR IT, you will have tons of fun riding it.

I'm 5ft 10 inches tall. My inseam is 32. The breakout has a low seat height. Yes, my breakout does better at slow speed turns than my 2012 Wide Glide that I traded in.

I'm the complete opposite. If it's black I'm not buying it.

The red looks great, but I'd get a blue one since it's my favorite color.

Go for it , I bought the red one as well . It looks amazing outside in the sunlight and it looks great in shade or the garage , color inside and in the shade is like a burgundy and in the sun it sparkles red .... Way better than the blue or black IMO
