Starter problem...help
Having problem starting my 2007 Heritage Softail.
When I turn on the key, nothing happens, as if no connection.
Just like I never turned on the key. Checked the On/Off switch, checked and not in gear, etc. I thought it was the battery, but checked it out and was good as was a new battery. Checked all connection, and voltage. So, for some reason, I tried putting it in gear, and rock it back and forth a few time. took it out of gear and turned on the key and it works and will start. If I ride it and make a lot of stops, it will crank back up with no problem. Then let it set at home a day or two, and have to do the rock back and forth again.
Why is this happening,
and how can I fix this weird problem ?
