Last December I wanted to get a second bike. I ride a 2011 Ultra, but wanted a smaller bike for my 10 mile commute to work and for fun. My wife told me that if I got a bike she was comfortable on she might ride some.
Last month she completed the MSF course and yesterday took her first ride on Slim. She did great!
Before the ride she was a bit nervous, but afterwards she was excited and already talking about planning another day when we could go out together and ride. She loves riding as my passenger and we have ridden together for 13 years. The idea of riding her own bike has never really appealed to her but maybe now she'll want to do it a little more.
Anyway, just wanted to share. We had a lot of fun and it's great to see her grow. She looks good too!
Yea, it took my OL a little while to get over the apprehension. I bought her an 883 and it sat for 3 months before she could get up the nerve to ride it, even though she had passed her MSF course with flying colors. I guess compared to a Rebel 250, the Sporty was huge lol.
