Congrats on the new riding partner. Mine won't go near one...
But, wouldn't she be better off following you?
I think I'd be a little more nervous having her running point.
You might be right. Next time we go out I may take point.

I like my OL in front so i can keep an eye out, as well as not riding past her speed limits LOL. On long trips, I break out the portable CB and I act as navigator while she's running point leading the way.
Congrats on her getting on... you'll have lots of fun riding together!!
hmmmmmm.......sounds familiar, 2 years ago it was the MSF course and a summer on a Rebel 250, last year she was scared of the 1200R I bought her--and when she finally got on it she was fine after about 30 seconds of riding in a parking lot. did about 6000 miles on the sporty last summer and we even did a bike trip to Skyline Drive--and--on the way home from Skyline Drive she traded the sporty for a Lowrider

Congrats to you and the wife. And when she's not riding the Slim, it's your other bike.
My wife rides too. When we ride together, she likes to trail and pays attention to me. She did not like being the lead as she felt more pressure.
While I'm away, she takes my Blackline for a spin to keep it from sitting too long. Only problem is I can't ride her bike as she rides a White Pearl 2011 1200 Custom Sportster with Pink flames.
That's cool. She looks great on that bike. When I bought the RG I had the intention of selling the Heritage, but the wife said she'd like to learn to ride and keep it. She also took the MSF, got her endorsement and now rides it and looks great riding it too. She still likes to ride with me on occasions tho, which is fine by me.
