2013 Slim Cat Removal.......
Has anyone removed the cats from the mufflers on the new Slim's? If so, how did it sound afterward? My wife wants a whole new exhaust but she is gonna have to wait. I am looking for a quick fix in the interim. Some FL-VIED's and gutting the mufflers.

If the Slim is a Softail the cats are in the mufflers. Install a pair of slip ons and cats are gone. XIEDS are a good combo with 2" baffled slip ons. Cycle Shack mufflers are the cheapest, I use Rush 1.75" baffled slip ons with XIED's and a V&H fuel pack. All is good and sound great, less heat and good mpg and perf.

I gutted the cats (so to speak) on my blackline while my exhaust was on order just to see what it would sound like. Had to frankenstein those mufflers back together after that and it sounded terrible lol.

If you do gut the cat's, box them up and send them to a democrat and tell them to mind their own damn business!!!!!
