Hey rockinred, how's it going with switching over to internal or have you started that yet? You will be surprised at how it looks afterward, sets apes apart and a really clean look. I also notice your mirrors, I'm gonna hunt someone down that has those if at all possible. I have to move my arms around to look behind me, thats getting old.

Hey Tbone... I haven't started on it just yet. I am thinking within the next two weeks. I can't wait and I am looking forward to it. Thanks for the input on it.

These pics above where my previous bike before the one I have now. If you are referring to the mirrors on the picture of my Fatboy above, I actually mounted those mirrors on the bars for a super clean look and a bit functionality. I used a 1/4 -20 Heli Coil and tapped the bars and mounted. I did that while running my bars on that install.

On my current bike I have the Arlen Ness Upswept mirrors. They actually compliment apes pretty decent if that's even possible. With these mirrors... I think they flow with the bars pretty smooth and they offer too much to my ride in terms of view for me to get rid of them. I'm always trying to find the balance of a stripped down bike yet still get good riding functions.

I did not put the round mirrors mounted on my current bars like I did with my Fatboy. I used Drag Specialty 16's on the Fatboy and the way everything set with seat etc...it worked good. I tried it with my 14' Carlini and it sat just a tad to low to view good out of them.

Safe Riding!
