07 Softail Exhaust -- "True Duals"
New to the forum but not new to the sport.
I have heard that "true dual" exhaust systems (ones without interconnecting pipe) exhibit a dip in the torque curve -- probably in the mid rpm range. Vance and Hines claims no torque loss across the entire rpm band (with their re-map) but will not share a dyno chart. Does anyone have a torquegraph with either thenew Vance and Hines true duals or the Samson versions -- plus alow restriction air filter (only these mods)? What fuel injection module and calibration strategy (in general) was used (i.e. powercommander, a/f calibrated to 13:1, spark set to mbt)? Also, since the left side of the bike with these exhaust systems has routing under the seat and next to the oil tank -- any instances of high heat to the rider, or higher heat being input to the oil tank?

06 C.V.O. 103 fat boy, s.e.r.t, K&N, 8mm plug wire's, no mod's to motor, D&D Boarzilla 2 in 1 with performance baffle, not cheap, you can go to there site and they show spec's and dyno's for all harley's, at 1000 mile service had dyno to bike, it's not the fastest, but it goe's fast enough for me, also this is rear wheel H.P & TOURQE.
