It seem to be a simple supply and demand issue as it seems there not making as many CVO breakouts for whatever reason. I think that's the reason for high prices.
Still waitng for my cvo breakout. The dealership has the status from the factory as ready to ship, do any of you know the actual meaning of that? The bike has been in that status for weeks, the dealership keeps telling me it still is on the estimated delivery date.

As far as charging more than MSRP, that shouldn't be the case. I just happen to be by a local Harley dealer over the weekend and they just got a Gold Dust CVO Breakout in. I couldn't believe it to be honest that it wasn't sold. I ended up trading in my bike for it. It wasn't one penny over MSRP. I pick it up this weekend. Cant wait. Now all I need is for V&H to hurry up with their backorders on pipes. I am being told mid July.

El Cajon HD has the silver/black CVO Breakout for $33,000ish! With that, it's been sitting still for over 3 months as nobody is willing to pay that price.
I had a guy offer me $30k for mine with the tune and Big Radius pipes and I told him no...so there are people out there that want them. I actually paid $26,043, which is under MSRP....to be honest, if I saw that guy again and he offered me the same amount, I'd sell it. Tax on $26500 and all of the BS gets you to $29,500-ish OTD....so I guess at $32000 it's not THAT far off.
