Bike is finally blackedout via forks Cant wait when I get back in town in 2 weeks and the build will finally be done. Last round of powder coats, saddlebag guard, fender trim, new PC'd saddlebag latch kit (Cavalry latches are poo), rest of LEDS, etc....and most important, centering the *** end that the dealership didn't care to do last year. Rear fender and pipes are not centered.
Btw I did not know this until today. Same owner that owns Airdrie Autowerkes AB Canada (Xtreme Customs) where I live also owns Camtech Customs down in the states. With that said, my bike has been in there for a week now waiting its turn...and was told by the manager that a few customers wanted to buy my bike while sitting amongst their awesome baggers
Props to the community. My bike would just be a catalog special without yas!
got a shot from the rear showing it off center? curious as to how the dealer could have missed that.
Older pic. Pipes are different by and inch to the tire and the rear fender is about 1/2" due to an imperfect weld by RWD....where the dealership told me noone will notice once it was all said and done. Long story short...I wasnt going to burn another couple months of precious riding season where they had almost the whole winter a couple years ago to do it right. And their asnwer was at the end when I did notice it, was 'noone will notice'. Well now the bike is in good hands and will never have calatlog specialists fit aftermarkets ever again. An expensive lesson learned.
Thanx man. I am so close to being done! Oh wait a new tach...damn it never ends haha. But mods like that are for the winter boredom. I just dont want to do much more or else the bike becomes to much.
