Default finally swapped exhaust.

hey yall i finally swapped out my stock exhaust.went with vance and hine bss.i noticed that now when i get on it and notice a vibration in conjunction with engine speed.i was wondering if the factory exhaust has dampers of some sort i didnt feel it so much before.btw love the sound it is awsome.and looks great.

Changed mine out to V&H Bigshot staggered and noticed nothing but more power and noise. Got a picture?? Somethings loose?

dont know how to do pics yet it is a little confusing.ive checked and all the bolts seem tight.i torqued the nuts at the motor to 20ftlb and the bracket nuts i muscled them down.

Agree with above, had them on Dyna and no vibration. If nothing obviously loose then suggest you loosen everything a bit and then starting at cylinders work back through carefully retightening. Great pipes for quality, looks, sound and overall performance. Don't forget heat shields when checking. John

i dont think i have a real problem.all is tight and seems ok.the vibration may be normal.it isnt bad maybe its just the motor.its only when i get on it hard.probably the vibration from the sound.just wanted to make sure i wasnt nuts thats all.

The pipes aren't rubbing against each other any are they? I wouldn't think they would be but might be worth checkin...

no they arent bss are cojoined by the power chamber.i figured one thing out.i found the bracket that attaches the pipes to the bike was mounted on by 2 studs and then 2 nuts.the studs were spacing the pipes away and wasnt seating well.i removed the 2 studs and used 2 bolts and it is alot better had to loosen the whole system to reset.
