Clark Gable Gave Us Hollywood Handlebars?
I wasnt able to catch the whole story yesterday on a bike program, where it had an old Harley museum rider talking about vintage bikes. But I overheard him saying how Clack Gable rode an old knuckhead and wasnt sure if I heard this right....his bike was dropped a few times while under the influence and kept bending the bars. In turn reinforcement was welded onto the bars....and so the Hollywood style bars was born.
To any history enthusiasts...is this true? I tried googling this fact quick, but all I got was one bad accident Clark Gable had on his bike.

As for the bars, I'm not sure about Gable. I dig these bars though. I just hope I don't have to test the Gable theory and drop my Slim.
