Well, this one has gone on for a long time. I've got good news and bad news. I went riding today with my friend Michelle and her 1962 Duo Glide. I don't wear sunglasses but she does so she put them on her seat. When I took the picture I wasn't even thinking about the glasses and thinking how cool this would look if I crouched real low. The picture looks great but you can't see her sunglasses on her seat.
So, this will have to be a judgment call for someone.
Awesome photo of a pair of awesome bikes. I friggin' LOVE shovels, pans, and knuckles. Thanks for resurrecting this thread - was thinking it was finally about dead.

For the next challenge, your bike with a Ferris Wheel in the background. Should be lots of County Fairs going on. Glasses or gloves on the seat.
... and I know where one is... but ALL FOUR of my bikes are down. Slim's Shotgun compressor quit, I haven't been able to get a hold of J.D. yet (Sturgis, I'm sure), and I'm not riding on the bump stops. Lo has cords showing on the back, cupped like a SOB on the front, and the battery is kaput. Road King needs new brakes on the front. Sporty has a slow leak in the front.
Hopefully I'll get at least two of them back up and running this week.
This has NOT been my year when it comes to things with engines. Even my goddam lawn mower took a crap... twice. Both the car and the truck blew engines within a week - one I replaced, the other, I *REPLACED* (with a newer vehicle all together). I'm so broke now, I can barely pay attention.
If it's any consolation, Ragnar, things have to get better.
The old '40 Chevy hasn't blown up... yet. Kinda scared to even fire it up.
Seriously, though, the bikes are all minor issues, and most of the work (aside from mounting and balancing tires) I can do myself. Just sucks when the WHOLE STABLE goes down in a week. Tires are already here, brake pads and battery should be here Wednesday, and I know I'll hear back from J.D. soon, with parts inbound shortly thereafter. It's not like any of them are wrecked or anything, so yeah... we'll make it.

Thanks for getting this one! I didn't think it was gonna take this long! This is exactly the kind of pic I was hoping for!

I really like the contrast of the modern versus vintage.
Her Duo Glide is all original with 47,000 miles on it. She found it in an airplane hanger and talked the old dude into selling it to her. I'm impressed she can do the kickstart! It is a very cool bike.

I agree with the very cool part, and why not video her kick starting it, and post here. I'm sure we would all love to see that. tp
