Default Thanks for the help

Hi people,

I'm new here and new to the Harley brand.
This is my 1st Harley ever.

I've rode all kinds of bikes from the age of 8 to 30 but I haven't rode for about 20 some years, but I took the plunge finally.

My claim to fame so far on a motorcycle is me and a buddy back in 1980 each had aKawasaki LTD 1000 (these were the first rice burners to have a Harley/Crusier look about them) and rode them from Missouri to Pheonix to Las Vegas and back home. We rode down Route 66 going out, but on the way back we rode all the way to the top of Pikes Peak. Going up was easy, it was the coming down those hairpin turns in gravel that was scary. 3,000 mile rode trip.

I've been a member here at HDForums since I bought the bike back around X-Mass.
So I've gotten a lot of ideas of what to do to my bike.
I want to thank everyone for some good ideas.
So far I've:

Mustang Seat - Wide Vintage Solo with Drivers Backrest
Harley - Fat Mini Ape Handlebars (10 1/2" rise)
Harley - Hard Saddlebags
Harley - 17" Blade Front Wheel
Rush - Slip On Mufflers 2.25 baffles
Harley - Quick Detachable Windshield and Sissy Bar
Harley - Axel Bolt Covers front and rear.

Anyway I just wanted to say high and I'll be around for a comment or two now that I've got this picture thing figured out.

Welcome Les...that's a good looking Fat Boy you got there!

I bought my Fat Boy in early December...my first HD! Had plenty of Hondas in the past, but I LOVE this motorcycle!

Good luck and we'll be seeing you on the forum!

Steve
