Been working on this old girl for awhile. I love the beach bars, but have always had a thing for vert apes on a vicla bagger as well, so I had to try it. I kept the beach bars as an assembled unit, so switching between them won't be a big deal. Cables should be coming soon and I'll have the sway done. Before with the beaches: Now with the 18" Apes: Should be a fun change!
I have been looking at all the bikes posted and they look great. I bought a 2012 Deluxe in black. I wanted to change it and ran across a magazine called REVOLUCION. After looking at the bikes I decided that I wanted to put together a ride like those.
So I started and ended up with a cool ride. The paint is the red metal flake that is featured on the 72. After I got done with building it I got allot of looks and thumbs up everywhere I rode.
I no longer own the bike, one day at my local HD I was looking at the 2014 CVO Road King and a salesperson I know wanted to know if I was interested in trading my bike. I laughed and said if the price is right. I had been wanting a bagger for a while. Well I know your gonna think that's bull, but a guy came up to me and wanted to buy my bike if I decided to trade. The local HD made me an offer I couldn't believe and I let the bike go and bought the CVO Road King. I don't get near the thumbs up on the Road King as I got on the Deluxe.
