Default Fatboy won't start?

I was recently riding my 2001 HD Fatboy when my electrical flickered and the bike died. I replaced my voltage regulator thinking that was it. It was not. My battery was good so I didn't replace it. I have then replaced my spark plugs and still the only thing it will do is turn over but won't start? Any suggestions on what to check next? Could it be the coil? I'm running out of ideas but don't really want to take it to Harley to have it looked at. That's my last resort. HELP!

Carb or Fuel Injected?

Fuel injected could be the fuel pump. Do you hear it prime when you turn on the ignition?

You can test your coil...

Coil or voltage regulator. The first thing to check is how tight your battery cables are. It could also be the plug wires. Is it getting gas?

This, and then follow the ground strap from the battery to the frame and see how good a connection it is.

I've done both of these as well. Everything checks out fine.

Is there any way to check the plug wires? I can check my plugs and they're getting spark so that tells me the wires are good am I right?

You did'nt mention if you checked all the fuse?
Some could look good, but unless you pull it, you can't see the corrosion underneath.
Also, mine is a 2001 and the circuit breaker is built in (behind the cover in front of the swingarm) and you can't reset it manually, it does it on it's own after a few minutes or so depending on what triggered the overload.

I had the same thing happen to my 2006 Heritage. It was my ignition switch.
