Hi everyone.. I recently bought a new tail light and tag bracket. and installed it to my bike,it looks great my bike has the wide tire kit.. only problem is the factory luggage rack wont fit now.. i been looking at wide glide luggage racks and they mount on out side of fender.. any help would be great thanks..
Mtn Man. I suggest that you post this over on the evo forum also. There's a lot of knowledgeable folks over there.
Do you have the factory wide tire kit - part number 43684-98A? If so the HD P&A catalog states that no fender modifications are required. Are the tail light and tag bracket factory items? Is you sissy bar and side plates welded together? If not, part number 53713-96 (Softail two up sport luggage rack) may work.

Its not a factory tail light. I bought it from J&P Cycles.. It looks alot better than stock tail light. it takes up the whole fender inside. no room for the luggage rack to fit in there.. I also have 95 WIDE GLIDE and it bolts on outside of fender struts. Thanks for your help.
