I bought the same one twice. The first one I sod to a buddy who has a blackline and was leaving on a trip the next day. The second one is now on my bike. Good quality and great people (ray and susan) to work with. They will change the specs for you if you want (taller or shorter, etc) also

Same experience here with Bowman. To my preference, they angled my bar back a few degrees and made it just a tad shorter, free of charge.
No mods required. But install of this bar does take some care. I goes inside the struts and if you are not careful, you can scratch your rear fender. Luckily, I didn't do any damage to mine.
Use dishwashing liquid to lube the sissy bar supports (this is in the Bowman instructions) and maybe some masking tape on the sides of the fender to protect it during install.
Those are really nice sissy bars. I did how ever opt for the HD one because I wanted to have the detachable option so that I could use my other detachables. But like others have said the Bowman bars are top quality.
I too am looking for a sissy bar to go on my slim s, using the HD pillion seat pad, that doesn't require mods, and that is QD. Trouble is the HD option requires re-positioning of the rear turn signal lights, and that's a turn off for me.

Any one know of any other options?
Thanks.
It only takes a little grinding on the plates back by the latch to clear the turn signals. I don't know why HD doesn't redesign the plates this way.
My bike has the HD sissy bar that I modified to make a tall one out of. Looks factory and easily detachable.
