Default New Fatboy Lo Project

So this past weekend I ride down to OK to a buddies house. He has a 2005 Night Train, we got talking and checking out our bikes and we both agreed on how we like eachother fenders and front ends well it came down to a talk on swapping front ends on a 2005 Night Train and a 2012 Fatboy Lo. My thing is he'll yea a straight trade sure why not but my question is has anyone ever done it before? How easy could it be? And does anyone have any pics of what it would look like? Any advice is welcome I told my buddy I'd do some research before swapping.
