did the spacers add enough height to keep the throttle cables off the tank?

Parttime379, they still lay on the tank, maybe not as hard against the tank.

How does it feel? Can you tell the difference in the reach? I'm interested in these if it helps.

Default 1.5" Spacers Installed

Here are some pics of the 1.5" spacers I installed that SpacerJim made.
I am 5'7" / 165lbs and the 1.5 inches that it brought the bar closer to me made a big difference. Definitely cannot go bigger without new cables. The break line loses its slack when turned all the way left but not tight. I ride more upright and because I am a little back more it's easier to plant my feet on the ground.

Awesome thanks Chap!

That looks great! I will definitely be getting a set, thanks for being the guinea pig :-D.

I ordered some and sent them to Nuchrome in MA who apparently "lost" them. *sigh*.

Will have to order another set and try to find someone more reliable to chrome them.

So I like what I see with the 1 1/2 Alum spacers from "Spacer Jim".
I followed the link in the thread to spacerjim.com and I don't see any thing about motorcycles.
Does anyone know if he is still in business... updated contact info? Thanks
