Default Throttle hands goes numb

I ride a 2009 fatboy. After around 30 minutes my right hand goes numb. The bike has drag bars. This happen with factory bars also. There is no vibration, no other shakes etc.

Any one elae have this problem and find a solution?

Thanks
Bob

Hold it like you would a bird. Tight enough so it won't fly away, but not tight enough to squeeze its guts through its ***.

Like others have said loosen your grip. You might find that a cramp buster may help.

I have same problem. But I'm a welder and contributed it to that. I find I squeeze the mig gun and my grinder with a death grip sometimes.

It's all about hand position. I've had the same problem on other bikes with different bars. I'm currently running Beach Bars on a Fatboy. My hand and arm position, and wrist angle are perfect. I can ride all day without numbness or fatigue. Sometimes you have to sacrifice Looking Cool for practicality and functionally.

If you have aftermarket exhaust installed it can make it worse. Exhaust can be loosened and neutralized. Bar end weights can be installed to help. Also there is a company that sells a handlebar snake that eliminates bar buzz by 90%. You will have to do some searching to find it on the internet. If you use a throttle "paddle" that rests in the palm of your hand, it will help. Also a throttle lock lever that mounts to the stock throttle lock, will also help.
