The setup I run is in my avatar pic.

Mustang wide solo and vintage style 3-channel luggage rack. Stylish AND practical.

I'll try, but I suck at inserting pictures. I'm not crazy about the set up, but it's better than a passenger seat/sissy bar/rack deal. Here goes nothin'!

Thumbs down

The only way to make a Heritage look good solo is to pretty much ditch everything.

Solo with the wide seat looks dumb. Needs a Barebones to look right.

Solo with the wide rear light bar looks dumb. Stand behind and look.

Solo with a crash bar looks dumb. It just looks dumb dumb dumb.

Solo with the bags looks dumb. This is really the dumbest look.

Sorry if some of you are offended by my opinion but a Heritage or a Deluxe either needs to be stripped down or left alone. I love the look of the fat tire bikes with Apes and stripped down. Taking off one or two pieces to try to fake the "solo look" just doesn't look right. Do a Google search. There are tons of solo pics of the fat tire bikes.

I agree. I got my Deluxe and have taken off the bags, passenger pilon, passenger pegs, luggage rack, tour pack, windshield. Relocated the tag bracket to below the tail light. I have had it two weeks.

I have my Street Glide with the bags, windshield, radio, etc.
