Has anyone tried or have any experience with Viking saddlebags. Mounting, quality or any other info appreciated. They seem very inexpensive for what they appear to be.
Did you have to relocate the rear signals? I didnt get the relo kit as they promised, so I'm waiting to install when I get it. Did you use the permanent or throwover method? Any tips or something you might have done different? Thanks
I did not have to relocate my turn signals. I purchased the quick connect kit.
The installation kits do not come with any templates to mount the bags. If I
had to do it over I think I would have made a template to follow. Take your time and make sure that your bike is level. If you have a lift or table it will make it easier to work on I used my buddies car lift and that caused some minor problems. I drilled the first bag and I set the other bag along side to make the holes and they came out perfect. There is a video on youtube showing how to install them.
I'm going to post some pictures in a few minutes I hope.
