Default Flat tire

Went out this morning to see a flat rear tire on my Heritage it is leaking at the valve but right where the nut is tight against the wheel, if it was the valve core would it not be leaking from the top of the stem, soaped it up pretty good seems to be the only place it is leaking.

Nothing sucks like a flat tire or a dead battery.

Dead battery is a piece of cake compared to a flat in a bike with an inner tube.

But they both suck.

I had the same problem a few years ago, turns out the leak was from a small split in the tube where the valve stem went into it, could be you've got the same type of thing, tightening the nut may just slow down the leak.

I am thinking it's the tube where the valve stem is attached to it as well. I have seen this many times.

Is this the tubeless or tubed wheel?
If it is a tubeless the valve stem assembly is leaking, replace it.
If it is the tube, replace it.

Off to the dealer I went with wife following behind me with the air compressor, what pissed me off is I just had the rear tire and rear brakes done two weeks ago,it cost me 720.00 at the dealer in good old Canada, why he would not have replaced the tube at the time I do not know.

If the tire does not have a nail in it then the tube was defective or the tube was pinched when put in. I would expect the dealer to stand behind it.
Cant imagine NOT putting in a new tube with a new tire, not on seven hundred dollar job.
